A man and a young child swim together in a backyard pool in this 1966 8mm home movie from the US Virgin Islands. The man supports the child, who wears white swim trunks with a polka-dot pattern, as they glide through the water on a white pool float. The scene captures a tender moment of father-child bonding under bright sunlight, with white patio chairs and green landscaping visible along the poolside. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain and color saturation, evoking a nostalgic mid-century American summer.
