A vintage 8mm home movie from 1966 captures a father and child enjoying a sunny day at a swimming pool in the US Virgin Islands. The father supports his young child as they play near the pool ladder, with the child splashing and reaching out. In the background, a wooden diving board stands ready, with a person in a swimsuit poised to jump. The scene is framed by classic mid-century poolside furniture, including metal lounge chairs and a striped towel, all under bright sunlight. The footage exhibits the warm color palette and film grain characteristic of 8mm home movies from the era.
