Woman and Boy by Arched Bridge over River — Clip Details

A woman and a young boy stand together on a scenic overlook in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in 1956, with a large arched bridge spanning a wide river in the background. The woman wears a black-and-white striped sundress, while the boy is in a white short-sleeved shirt. They appear to be posing for a photo, with the woman smiling and the boy looking toward the camera. The footage, shot on 8mm film, shows natural movement and slight camera shake, with visible film grain and a warm, faded color palette characteristic of mid-century home movies. The scene captures a moment of quiet family nostalgia against a picturesque coastal backdrop.
