Street Parade with Clown and Colorful Umbrella — Clip Details

JAPAN-1953: A vibrant street parade unfolds in a Japanese town, captured on 8mm film. A colorful paper umbrella with Japanese characters is a focal point, carried by a performer in a white uniform. A clown in a yellow vest and hat entertains the crowd, while a man in a sailor-style uniform holds a large drum. Spectators of all ages watch the procession, with a sign reading 'PARA DROP' visible in the background. The footage shows natural film grain and slight camera movement, conveying a lively, nostalgic atmosphere of mid-century Japanese community life.
