Fountain And Bridge With Some Old Car — Clip Details

CUBA-1962: Vintage 8mm film footage captures a sun-drenched city square with a grand stone fountain as the centerpiece. A classic 1940s-era car drives past the ornate fountain, its chrome grille gleaming in the daylight. People stroll along the paved walkway, and a woman in a dark coat walks near a white balustrade overlooking a river. The scene is framed by weathered European-style buildings with shuttered windows, all rendered in the warm, slightly faded colors and grainy texture of 8mm home movie film. The footage offers a nostalgic glimpse into mid-century Cuban life and architecture.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1960s Cuba home-movie footage for productions needing a brief urban cutaway with a stone fountain, bridge walkway, pedestrians, and an older car.
Period detail: The old car, shuttered masonry buildings, formal fountain, and 8mm color stock support a mid-20th-century reading consistent with the supplied 1962 Cuba metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The clip has a visitor-shot feel, observing a public square and bridge from street level as pedestrians pass and traffic moves through the frame.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a white balustrade, river or waterfront edge, ornate stone fountain, old car, shuttered buildings, pedestrians, and street markings.
Film character: The footage shows soft 8mm focus, uneven exposure, visible grain, gate edges, and handheld framing that preserve the feel of original home-movie film.
Edit role: Editors could use this as a short establishing insert, travel-memory transition, urban texture cutaway, or bridge between street and architecture material.
Historical context: The scene appears to show everyday public space in Cuba, with European-influenced architecture, a civic fountain, pedestrians, and street traffic in view.
Research note: People and a visible shop sign or lettering require likeness and trademark review, while copyright clearance remains separate from location or subject identification.
Research search match: Useful search matches include 1962 Cuba 8mm street footage, Cuban fountain home movie, old car in city square, bridge walkway, and vintage urban travel film.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Cuba 1962 street scenes, then broader vintage fountain, bridge, old car, and city-square material.
