NEW YORK-1947: A young girl in a dark coat and hat enjoys a winter day on a playground slide and swing. Shot on 8mm film, the grainy black and white footage captures her joyful expressions as she slides down and swings back and forth. A brick building and chain-link fence form the backdrop, with another child briefly visible. The handheld camera movement and natural light evoke a candid, nostalgic home movie feel from the late 1940s.
