Shot on 8mm film in 1948, this vintage home movie captures a long island beach scene with a large pile of discarded debris and trash along the shoreline. People in period clothing sit and stand on the rocks near the water's edge, while a small building with a sign reading 'LIVE LOBSTER' is visible in the foreground. The footage shows a mix of natural ocean waves and man-made clutter, offering a nostalgic glimpse of mid-century coastal life. The grainy, slightly faded color and film distortion are characteristic of 8mm home movies from the era.
