People On Dock And Rowing Boat — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this vintage home movie captures a serene day at Clear Lake, California. Four people sit on a wooden dock extending into the calm water, dressed in light summer clothing typical of the era. The scene transitions to a small rowboat with three individuals, including a woman in a dark dress and two others in light attire, gently rowing across the lake. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 grain, slight motion blur, and natural lighting, evoking a nostalgic, peaceful atmosphere of mid-century American leisure. This archival clip is ideal for documentaries, editorial content, or nostalgic projects exploring 1930s family life and recreation.
