Lady In Blue Uniform Walks Dog In Park — Clip Details

A woman in a light blue uniform-style suit and matching hat walks through a grassy park area in this 8mm home movie from 1947. She carries a dark purse over her shoulder and wears black gloves, her gaze directed downward as she moves across the frame. A small dog is visible near her feet, seemingly off-leash. The footage exhibits the characteristic grain and color saturation of vintage 8mm film, capturing a candid moment of everyday life in New York during the post-war era.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1940s New York home-movie requests needing a brief everyday park scene with an adult woman walking a small dog.
Period detail: The light blue uniform-style suit, matching hat, gloves, shoulder purse and 8mm color stock support a mid-1940s appearance without identifying a specific role.
Home-movie behavior: The subject appears unposed as she walks across grass and looks down toward the small dog near her feet.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a woman in a pale blue suit and hat, black gloves, a dark shoulder purse, a small dog, grass, trees and distant park fixtures.
Film character: The clip has soft 8mm color, visible grain, mild exposure variation and handheld framing that preserve the feel of a scanned home movie.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short insert, transition or memory beat for post-war urban leisure, personal style or pet companionship.
Historical context: The scene offers a small social detail of outdoor dress and casual park movement in archival home-movie footage from New York.
Research note: A person is visible and may be identifiable, so likeness review may be needed separately from copyright or footage licensing checks.
Research search match: Searches such as 1947 New York woman walking dog, 1940s park home movie, blue suit hat gloves, and 8mm dog in park may match this clip.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with nearby shots from the same reel, then other New York 1947 material, then broader 1940s park, fashion or pet scenes.
