A group of young women in matching black uniforms and hats march in unison across a paved courtyard in New York, 1947. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures their synchronized steps in front of a large institutional building with a prominent smokestack. The women wear dark coats, skirts, and gloves, with blue collars visible beneath their jackets. The scene has a distinct vintage quality with natural lighting and slight film grain, evoking a sense of disciplined order and mid-century American life. The camera remains stationary, observing the procession from a fixed vantage point.
