A Boy Plays With A Dog Digging In The Sand — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1946, this vintage home movie captures a young boy in swim trunks playing on the sand at Long Beach, New York. He sits beside a small black and white dog, which digs energetically in the sand while the boy watches and occasionally pets it. An adult in a swimsuit sits nearby, observing the playful scene. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain, faded colors, and a nostalgic, candid quality, offering a charming glimpse into mid-century American beach life and family moments.
