Shot on 8mm film in 1973, this vintage home movie captures two young boys in a dimly lit room during the holiday season. One boy, wearing a dark sweater, bends toward a brick fireplace while another, in a light-colored shirt, stands nearby. The scene features patterned curtains, stockings hanging from the mantel, and warm, grainy film quality. The boys appear to be hanging stockings, a classic Christmas tradition, with one boy looking toward the camera with a slight smile. The footage has a nostalgic, intimate feel, typical of family home movies from the 1970s.
