A young boy in a black jacket and white collared shirt stands in a dimly lit room decorated for Christmas in Lynbrook, New York, 1976. He smiles brightly at the camera, his face illuminated against a backdrop of patterned wallpaper and a red brick fireplace. Several red stockings hang from the mantel, one of which appears empty. The footage, shot on 8mm film, captures a candid, nostalgic holiday moment with natural film grain and warm, vintage color tones.
