BUFFALO NEW YORK-1944: Two young boys in heavy winter coats and hats shovel snow from a walkway in front of a brick house. Shot on 8mm film, the black-and-white footage captures a quiet winter day with snow-covered ground and a decorated Christmas tree. One boy uses a shovel while the other watches, their breath visible in the cold air. The scene has a grainy, nostalgic quality typical of home movies from the 1940s, with a tripod visible in the background. This authentic archival clip evokes mid-century American family life and holiday routines.
