Shot on 8mm film in 1976, this vintage home movie captures a winter day at a frozen pond in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The icy surface, dotted with broken ice floes, reflects a clear blue sky. In the distance, a few houses sit on a grassy hillside, while bare trees line the shore. As the clip progresses, people appear on the ice, walking and skating across the frozen water, their figures small against the vast, cold landscape. The footage shows natural film grain and a slightly faded color palette typical of Super 8 home movies from the era, evoking a sense of nostalgic Americana and everyday winter life.
