Bushes And Trees Outside Of A Building With Two Cars — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1976, this vintage home movie captures a quiet residential scene in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The clip opens on a dark, shadowed cabin nestled among dense trees and bushes, gradually revealing a bright yellow Volkswagen Beetle parked on a gravel driveway. A second car is partially visible behind it. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s Fort Wayne home-movie cutaway for productions needing quiet residential exterior footage with trees, a small building, and parked cars.
Period detail: The yellow compact car styling and 8mm color home-movie look support a mid-1970s residential setting, with the year 1976 supplied by clip metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The mostly static view feels like an unstaged household or visitor glimpse of a shaded driveway rather than a planned documentary setup.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a dark small building, leafy trees, shrubs, a red low border, gravel driveway, yellow car, and a second pale car partly behind it.
Film character: The scan shows dense Super 8-style grain, uneven exposure, warm color shifts, soft focus, and contact-sheet frame edges that preserve the physical-film texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief exterior insert, neighborhood transition, driveway cutaway, or memory beat within a 1970s Midwestern home-movie sequence.
Historical context: The scene offers everyday residential context in Fort Wayne, showing shaded yard space and parked personal vehicles without asserting a specific neighborhood or event.
Research note: No people or readable logos are visible, but the building and cars may still require property, location, or trademark review depending on final use.
Research search match: Useful searches include 1976 Fort Wayne 8mm home movie, 1970s residential driveway, yellow car outside house, trees and small building footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1976 Fort Wayne exteriors, then broader 1970s home-movie scenes of homes, yards, and parked cars.
