Women Wearing Bathing Suits And Carrying Towels Heading — Clip Details

A vintage 8mm home movie from Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1974 captures two women in bathing suits near a poolside building. One woman in a green top and white shorts walks away, while another in a bikini carries a towel and moves toward the entrance. The footage shows a classic mid-70s aesthetic with soft focus, purple color tint, and film grain, evoking a nostalgic summer memory. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s Midwestern home-movie requests needing poolside leisure, hotel or resort exteriors, and casual summer movement as documentary B-roll.
Period detail: The swimsuits, shorts, towels, broad window walls, and sheer curtains may show mid-1970s poolside fashion and hospitality architecture.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the unstaged movement as women walk and pause near the poolside entrance while the handheld camera observes from a distance.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include two women in swimwear, towels, a pool edge, paved walkway, large windows, sheer curtains, shrubs, and a columned building facade.
Film character: The 8mm scan has soft focus, purple color shift, visible grain, uneven exposure, and handheld framing that preserve the home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a brief insert, summer memory beat, poolside transition, or cutaway within a 1970s family travel sequence.
Historical context: The clip records everyday leisure around a pool area in Fort Wayne, with clothing and architecture giving visual context without identifying a specific venue.
Research note: People are visible and likeness review may be needed; no logos or audible music are evident, but copyright and location rights should be assessed separately.
Research search match: Likely matches searches for 1974 Fort Wayne pool footage, 1970s women in bathing suits, 8mm hotel pool home movie, and vintage summer leisure B-roll.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Fort Wayne 1974 material, then broader 1970s pool, travel, and summer leisure footage.
