Beautiful Flowering Pond And Garden For All The People... — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1972, this vintage home movie captures a tranquil garden scene in Iran. A curved flower bed bursts with white blossoms, likely cyclamens, set against dark green foliage and a small pond. In the background, people stroll along a path, including a figure in a bright yellow jacket and another in a red coat, enjoying the peaceful park setting. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 grain, soft focus, and natural lighting, evoking a nostalgic, documentary-style moment of everyday life.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s Iran editorial projects needing a quiet public garden or pond cutaway with visible park visitors and flowering beds.
Period detail: The 8mm color stock, soft focus, casual park clothing, and metadata-supported 1972 Iran setting place the scene in an early-1970s home-movie context.
Home-movie behavior: The clip preserves an unstaged visitor perspective on people strolling or pausing beside a landscaped pond and flower bed.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a curved pond edge, dense white blossoms, dark green planting beds, a paved path, railings, and distant park visitors.
Film character: The footage has subdued exposure, visible grain, soft focus, and slight handheld framing typical of scanned 8mm home movies.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short establishing insert, reflective transition, or everyday-life memory beat within a sequence on Iranian parks or leisure.
Historical context: The scene shows public garden enjoyment and landscaped urban greenery without identifying a specific park, city, or event beyond the supplied Iran and 1972 metadata.
Research note: People are visible at a distance, so copyright, likeness, and any location or property considerations should be reviewed separately before reuse.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1972 Iran 8mm home movie garden, vintage public park pond, white flower bed, and everyday leisure footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Iran 1972 garden or park footage, then broader 1970s public leisure and nature cutaways.
