Red And White Flowers Populate A Garden In A Landscaped Area — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1972, this vintage home movie captures a vibrant garden scene in Iran. The footage features clusters of bright red poinsettias and white flowering plants arranged in a landscaped garden, with lush green foliage in the background. The warm, slightly faded color palette and visible film grain evoke a strong sense of nostalgia and mid-century vintage. The camera moves slowly across the blooms, highlighting their rich colors and natural textures in a sun-drenched outdoor setting.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s Iran archive requests needing a brief garden, landscaping, or floral cutaway from real 8mm home-movie footage.
Period detail: The frames show 8mm color footage with planted beds and clipped greenery, while the 1972 Iran context is supported by the supplied clip metadata rather than visible signs.
Home-movie behavior: The camera studies the flowers at close range in an informal home-movie manner, favoring color, texture, and a visitor's quiet attention to the garden.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include red flowering plants, white blossoms, green leaves, trimmed hedges, sunlit planting beds, dark film gate edges, and contact-sheet frame divisions.
Film character: The clip has warm 8mm color, soft focus, visible grain, uneven exposure, and dark frame edges that give the garden view a physical-film archive texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short insert, seasonal transition, garden cutaway, or memory beat within a travel, family, or place-based sequence.
Historical context: The footage records ornamental garden planting in Iran as seen by a home-movie camera, without visible people, signage, or landmarks to identify the exact site.
Research note: No people, logos, or private interiors are visible, but users should still clear source copyright and assess any location or property concerns for the intended use.
Research search match: Research matches include 1972 Iran 8mm garden footage, red and white flowers home movie, vintage landscaped garden cutaway, and 1970s floral travel film.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Iran 1972 material, and then broader 1970s home-movie clips of gardens, parks, or ornamental planting.
