White And Orange Colored Flowers Are Born On Plants — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1972, this vintage home movie captures a festive holiday display in Iran. The clip features a decorated evergreen tree adorned with warm, glowing lights, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant red and white flowering plants, likely poinsettias and begonias. The scene exudes a nostalgic, warm atmosphere, with the soft glow of the lights contrasting against the dark background, suggesting an indoor or evening setting. The footage shows slight camera movement, typical of handheld Super 8 recordings, with visible film grain and color shifts characteristic of 1970s home movies.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful 1970s Iran home-movie footage for productions needing a holiday floral display, indoor garden cutaway, or decorative seasonal atmosphere without people on screen.
Period detail: The frame may show a 1972 holiday or indoor display, with poinsettia-like white bracts, red-orange flowers, small plant labels, and warm lights on an evergreen form.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the casual home-movie gaze, lingering on a decorative plant display rather than staging an event or formal botanical record.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include white poinsettia-like plants, red-orange flowering plants, dark green foliage, a lit evergreen or shrub, small plant labels, and a dim background.
Film character: The 8mm scan carries soft focus, visible grain, warm light bloom, slight color shift, and handheld framing that place the material clearly in a home-movie archive texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief insert, seasonal transition, memory beat, or decorative cutaway within a sequence about home life, holidays, gardens, or 1970s Iran.
Historical context: The clip visually documents a decorative floral display in Iran in 1972, with no people visible and no identifiable public landmark or event shown in the frames.
Research note: No faces, logos, or readable branding are visible, but copyright status and any venue or display permissions should still be reviewed before commercial use.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1972 Iran 8mm home movie flowers, vintage holiday plant display, poinsettias and lights, and 1970s indoor garden footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Iran 1972 home-movie material, then broader 1970s floral, garden, or holiday display footage.
