Pikes Peak Summit Sign Reads 14,110 Ft — Clip Details

COLORADO USA-1967: Vintage 8mm home movie footage captures the iconic Summit Pikes Peak sign at 14,110 ft. in Pike National Forest. The stone monument features bold white lettering against a dark background, set against a bright, overcast sky. The scene transitions to a wide view of the summit parking area, showing a classic 1960s tour bus and several vintage automobiles on a dusty, unpaved lot. The film exhibits natural grain, slight color fading, and the characteristic frame borders of an 8mm home movie, evoking a nostalgic sense of mid-century American travel and adventure.
