Pastor Submerges Disciple in River for Baptism — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vintage home movie captures a baptism ceremony in Brazil. A man in a white shirt and bow tie, likely a pastor, stands in a shallow river or stream with a young person in a purple shirt. He gently submerges the individual, performing a religious rite surrounded by lush green foliage. The footage shows natural film grain, slight motion blur, and authentic color shifts typical of Super 8 home movies from the era. The scene conveys a solemn, personal moment of faith and renewal.
