Shot on 8mm film in 1965, this vintage home movie captures a lively outdoor swimming race at a public pool in Manchester, New Hampshire. Swimmers compete in the turquoise water while a crowd of adults and children watches from the poolside, with a man in a white shirt standing near the starting block. The scene is bathed in bright sunlight, showcasing classic 1960s swimwear and casual summer attire, with trees and hills visible in the background. The footage features natural film grain and slight color fading, preserving the authentic look of a mid-century family memory.
