Shot on 8mm film in 1964, this vintage home movie captures a lively street parade in Harvard, Illinois. A small steam-powered vehicle, possibly a fire engine or novelty float, emits plumes of white smoke as it moves down the main street. Spectators, including children in period clothing, line the sidewalks, watching the procession. Men in white uniforms and hard hats walk alongside the vehicle, while colorful pennant flags hang between buildings. The scene is bathed in the warm, slightly faded colors characteristic of 1960s Super 8 film, with visible grain and a nostalgic, authentic feel. This archival footage offers a charming glimpse into a small-town American celebration.
