A family enjoys a picnic in a wooded park in Elkhart, Illinois, in 1964. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures a group of adults and children gathered around picnic tables, preparing food and eating. A man in a white cap and plaid shirt is seen in the foreground, while others, including women in cardigans and a man in a white shirt, prepare meals and interact. A vintage blue car is parked nearby, and the natural setting features dense trees and greenery. The warm, slightly faded colors and film grain evoke a nostalgic, authentic 1960s home movie feel.
