Boys Swimming in Backyard Pool — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1964, this vintage home movie captures children playing in a backyard pool in Camden, New Jersey. Two boys in swim trunks splash and swim in the blue water, with one child seen floating on a red inner tube. The footage features the characteristic grain, color bleed, and slight motion blur of Super 8 home movies from the era, evoking a nostalgic summer day. The dark background suggests evening or shaded play, with the pool's blue water and red tube providing vibrant pops of color. This authentic archival footage is ideal for documentaries, nostalgic content, and history educators.
