Driving On The Mountain Side While Raining — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a rainy drive through Summit County, Colorado. Viewed from inside a vehicle, the footage shows a wet asphalt road winding through lush green farmland with raindrops streaking the window. Rolling mountains rise in the distance under a heavy, overcast sky, with a small roadside structure visible on the left. The classic Super 8 grain and color palette evoke a strong sense of Americana nostalgia, perfect for documentaries, editorial content, or historical storytelling.
