Boy Scout in Uniform Leaves House With American Flag — Clip Details

A young boy in a Boy Scout uniform steps out of a suburban home in Hagerstown, Maryland, in 1961. He walks past an American flag on a pole, then moves toward a garage in the backyard. Shot on 8mm film, the footage shows grainy, color-tinted visuals typical of home movies from the early 1960s. The scene captures a quiet moment of daily life, with the boy’s uniform and the flag adding a sense of patriotism and community. The footage is ideal for historical, nostalgic, or Americana-themed projects.
