Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a lively scene in Calcutta, India, where tourists ride an elephant through a bustling area. Several people are seated atop the elephant, while others watch from the ground, including a woman in a pink top. The elephant walks past a colonial-style building with ornate details and green trees, under bright daylight. The footage shows natural film grain, slight motion blur, and the characteristic color fade of 1960s Super 8 film, offering authentic archival footage for documentaries, nostalgic content, or historical projects.
