Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage footage captures a lively outdoor scene in Calcutta, India. People in traditional attire walk beneath strings of colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind. A man in a straw hat and patterned vest walks toward a seated woman, while others roam the grounds. The film shows natural movement, slight camera shake, and the characteristic grain and color fade of Super 8 home movie footage. The scene evokes a sense of daily life and cultural tradition in mid-century India.
