Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a bustling riverside ghat in Calcutta, India. Crowds of people gather on stone steps leading to the water, many in traditional white clothing, while small boats bob at the edge. The scene is framed by colonial-era buildings with arched windows and a red sign, all under a bright sky. The footage shows natural movement and the characteristic grain and slight distortion of Super 8 film, offering a nostalgic glimpse into daily life along the river.
