Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1950s Las Vegas vacation or resort-life sequences needing brief home-movie views of a motel pool area with guests moving through the scene.
Period detail: The low-rise motel building, pool slide, lounge chairs, striped umbrella, and dress of the walkers support a late-1950s leisure setting.
Home-movie behavior: The footage has an unstaged visitor viewpoint, with people walking casually across the lawn and poolside while the camera observes through palm trunks.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include palm trunks, a lawn, white fencing, a motel facade, poolside lounge chairs, a slide, a striped umbrella, and walking guests.
Film character: The clip carries a soft 8mm home-movie texture with faded color, light overexposure, visible grain, and slight handheld framing.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short insert, transition, or memory beat for mid-century travel, motel, poolside, or Las Vegas vacation context.
Historical context: The scene shows mid-century American resort leisure through ordinary poolside architecture and casual guest movement rather than a staged tourist landmark view.
Research note: People are visible and likeness review may be needed; no clear logos are readable, and copyright status is separate from property or personality rights.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1958 Las Vegas 8mm home movie, mid-century motel pool, vintage resort guests, palm-framed poolside scene, and 1950s vacation footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with nearby same-reel vacation shots, then other 1958 Las Vegas exteriors, then broader mid-century motel, poolside, and American travel footage.
