Boy Struggles With Wind-Blown Graduation Cap — Clip Details

A young boy in a gray suit and purple tie stands on a sidewalk outside a brick building in Lynbrook, New York, in 1971. He wears a white and red paper graduation cap, which the wind blows off as he smiles. The boy bends down to retrieve the cap, then holds it up triumphantly. Shot on 8mm film, this vintage home movie captures a candid moment of childhood joy and resilience on a breezy day, with natural lighting and authentic film grain.
