Back Shot Of A Ferry Leaving Port — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1957, this vintage clip captures a classic riverboat ferry departing from a dock in Catskill, New York. Passengers in period attire stand on the upper deck, watching as the paddlewheel churns the water. The sun glints off the river, creating lens flare and highlighting the boat's white and yellow railings. The footage has a nostalgic, home-movie quality with natural film grain and warm color tones, offering authentic archival footage of mid-century river transportation.
