Shot on 8mm film in 1955, this vintage home movie captures a snowy winter day in Albany, New York. A person in a dark coat stands silhouetted in the doorway as another individual in a colorful hat shovels snow near a wooden structure. A child in a bright red hooded coat plays in the snow, throwing snowballs in a yard lined with bare trees. The footage shows natural, unscripted winter activity with authentic film grain and color fading typical of mid-century home movies.
