White House Surrounded By Bare Trees — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1954, this vintage home movie captures a white two-story house in Hicksville, New York, surrounded by bare trees suggesting late autumn or early winter. The footage begins with a view through wooden framing, possibly a window or doorway, before revealing the house in full. The house features a brown shingled roof, white siding, and dark shutters, with a chimney visible. The scene is framed by leafless trees, and the film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color fading, and slight camera shake, evoking a nostalgic, archival feel. This authentic slice of mid-century American life is ideal for documentaries, historical projects, or nostalgic content.
