Shot on 8mm film in 1975, this vintage home movie captures a group of children crouching on a wet stone pavement in Venice, Italy, feeding a flock of pigeons. The black-and-white footage shows the children scattering grains, their hands reaching toward the birds as the pigeons gather closely. The scene is filled with the quiet joy of a simple moment, with the children dressed in casual 1970s clothing and the wet ground reflecting the soft light. The grainy texture and slight lens distortion add to the authentic, nostalgic feel of this archival clip.
