Shot on 8mm film in 1975, this vintage home movie captures three young girls crouching on a wet stone pavement in Venice, Italy, feeding a large flock of pigeons. The black-and-white footage shows them in period clothing—dark sweaters and skirts—reaching out to the birds on a rainy day. A woman in a striped skirt joins them, also feeding the pigeons. The scene is set against a historic stone wall, with the grain and soft focus of Super 8 film adding to the nostalgic, candid feel. The final frame reveals St. Mark's Basilica in the background, confirming the location. This archival footage offers a charming glimpse into everyday life in Venice during the 1970s, perfect for documentaries, editorial content, or nostalgic storytelling.
