Queen on Gingerbread House Bakery Float — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vibrant clip captures a festive parade float shaped like a gingerbread house, adorned with colorful flowers and candy-themed decorations. A woman in a white gown and blue cape, styled as a queen or princess, waves to the crowd from the float, which is labeled 'Bakery & Confectionery Workers Union.' The scene unfolds in Los Angeles, with spectators lining the street and a modern church visible in the background. The footage features natural film grain and rich, saturated colors typical of vintage home movies, evoking a nostalgic 1960s Americana atmosphere.
