Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful 1940s Paris sports footage for documentary or educational edits needing amateur soccer play, recreation, or postwar-era leisure imagery.
Period detail: The uniforms, open grass pitch, monochrome 8mm texture, and simple field markings may show mid-century organized amateur soccer in Paris.
Home-movie behavior: The clip preserves unstaged match movement from a spectator-like vantage, with players running, challenging, and kicking across the field.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include soccer players in light shirts and dark shorts, a ball, grass pitch markings, goal-area lines, and distant field space.
Film character: The 8mm scan has strong grain, soft focus, flicker, sepia-black-and-white tonality, and handheld framing that read as physical home-movie texture.

Historical context: The footage visually documents men playing soccer in uniform on a marked grass field, supporting themes of organized recreation and everyday sport.
Research note: People are visible but not identifiable in these frames; confirm copyright, likeness, and any venue or event context before publication.
