MAINE USA-1971: A crew member in a white shirt stands on the deck of a large ship under a deep blue sky, with the vessel's railings and rigging visible. The scene shifts to show the ship's bow, featuring a Japanese flag and the name 'SHIN CHIKU MARU' on its hull, docked at a port. The final frames capture a waterfront view with people walking along the shore, sailboats on the water, and power lines stretching across the sky, all rendered in the distinct blue tint and grain of 8mm home movie footage.
