Shot on 8mm film in 1977, this vintage home movie captures a person water skiing on Canyon Lake, California. The footage, taken from a moving boat, shows a skier in a yellow top being pulled across the lake, with the shoreline, trees, and distant hills visible in the background. The grainy, slightly faded color and motion blur reflect the authentic feel of a 1970s family vacation. The perspective includes the boat's edge and a white and red striped pole, adding to the nostalgic, personal viewpoint. This archival clip offers a glimpse into 1970s recreational life and outdoor fun.
