Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Mara, Tanzania, 1983, showing a wide savanna landscape under a cloudy sky. A herd of gazelles, likely Thomson's gazelles, grazes across the dry grassland, their distinctive brown bodies and white underbellies visible as they feed. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color fading, and dark vertical borders typical of home movie footage. The camera remains mostly static, capturing the natural movement of the animals across the open plain, with scattered bushes and scrub in the background. This authentic archival clip offers a nostalgic glimpse into East African wildlife during the 1980s.
