Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Mara, Tanzania, 1983, showing a large herd of African buffaloes grazing in a lush green savanna. The herd moves slowly across the grassy plain, with some animals standing and others lying down, their dark bodies contrasting against the vibrant green grass. The scene is captured with natural film grain and slight camera shake, characteristic of handheld Super 8 footage. In the background, scattered acacia trees and distant structures are visible under a bright blue sky. The final frame shifts to a different scene, showing a cheetah or wild cat partially hidden in tall yellow grass near a bush, suggesting a predator-prey moment in the wild. This authentic archival footage offers a nostalgic glimpse into East African wildlife and 1980s home movie style.
