Vintage 8mm home movie footage from California, USA, in 1975 captures an intimate family moment. A woman in a red vest over a cream sweater feeds a young child in overalls a slice of birthday cake on a white plate. The scene shifts to a man with glasses and a mustache in a light shirt, and a woman in a patterned blouse, both eating cake at a table. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain, warm purple and pink color shifts, and soft focus, evoking a nostalgic, personal memory of a 1970s family celebration.
