Vintage 8mm home movie footage from 1981 at Beale AFB, California, showing a public tour of military helicopters. Civilians, including families and children, examine a UH-1 Iroquois and an AH-1 Cobra, with open cockpit doors and engine compartments revealing internal components. The footage captures the era's color palette and film grain, with people in casual 1980s attire observing the aircraft on a sunny day near hangars. The scene documents a community outreach event at the airbase, offering a nostalgic glimpse into Cold War-era military public relations.
