City Panorama Landscape Storage Lot — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm film footage from Cairo, Egypt, in 1946, showing a panoramic view of a large industrial storage complex with numerous rectangular concrete tanks or drying beds arranged in neat rows. The scene is framed by dark borders, typical of home movie film, with visible grain and slight color fading. Period detail: The distant mid-rise skyline, open green fields and ordered concrete basins may show Cairo's mid-century urban edge and infrastructure landscape.
Home-movie behavior: The clip has a visitor-shot viewpoint from an elevated position, observing the city and storage grounds without staging or close human activity.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include rectangular concrete basins, low fences, green fields, scattered trees, industrial sheds, a distant urban skyline and pale sky.
Film character: The 8mm scan shows soft focus, visible grain, slight color fading, gate borders and gentle pan movement that preserve its home-movie texture.

Historical context: The view places ordered industrial land beside open fields and dense buildings, suggesting a city perimeter where infrastructure and urban growth meet.
