Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Ocean City, New Jersey, 1968, showing a young boy aboard a moving boat. The clip captures the boy in profile, looking out over the water as the boat creates a wake. A person in sunglasses is visible in the foreground, and a director's chair with a ship's wheel emblem sits on the deck. The scene is bathed in a distinct purple-blue color cast typical of 1960s film stock, with visible grain and slight motion blur. In the distance, a water tower and shoreline buildings are visible under a hazy sky. The footage captures a candid moment of a family boating trip, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia and Americana.
