Woman In Glasses Talking On A Speeding Boat — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Ocean City, New Jersey, 1968, showing a woman with short hair and sunglasses sitting on a speeding boat. She is seen in profile, looking out over the blue water as the boat moves through the waves, with a distant shoreline and a blimp visible in the background. The clip has a distinct purple color cast and film grain, characteristic of 1960s amateur Super 8 footage. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s U.S. seaside recreation edits needing real home-movie footage of adults boating near Ocean City, New Jersey.
Period detail: The sunglasses, short hairstyle, director-style deck chair, 8mm format, and purple color cast support a late-1960s recreational boating context.
Home-movie behavior: The woman appears unstaged, talking and looking across the water while the camera rides with her on a moving boat.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a woman in sunglasses, blue water, wake, boat railing, director-style chair, distant shoreline, pale sky, and a small blimp.
Film character: The clip has visible 8mm grain, soft exposure, handheld framing, and a pronounced purple-blue cast that read as physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a cutaway, travel insert, memory beat, or transitional shot for coastal leisure and family-vacation sequences.
Historical context: The footage shows private leisure on the water, with a seated adult passenger and shoreline beyond, without enough detail to identify a specific vessel or event.
Research note: Human likeness and a visible chair emblem may need review, while copyright status is separate from personality, trademark, or location considerations.
Research search match: Researchers might search for 1968 Ocean City New Jersey boating, 8mm woman on speedboat, vintage shore vacation footage, or blimp over water.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then Ocean City 1968 waterfront material, then broader 1960s boating and seaside recreation footage.
