Vintage 8mm home movie footage from 1961 in Michigan, capturing a person waterskiing on a calm lake behind a motorboat. The skier, wearing a red top and dark shorts, glides across the water while being pulled by the boat, with a person visible in the boat. The scene is framed by a dark border with vertical film scratches, showing natural film grain and faded colors typical of 1960s home movies. Lush green trees line the distant shoreline, creating a nostalgic summer recreation scene. The skier maintains balance before eventually falling into the water, with the boat continuing forward. This authentic archival clip offers a glimpse into mid-century American leisure activities.
